Literary Adventures

Authors of the UK

So, I was blessed to earn a grant from Funds for Teachers to create my own professional development this summer. I chose England because it's gorgeous and rich in literary lore. This section is the whole reason for this blog site.

I have been researching, reading, and planning ever since I found out I was accepted on April 5th. My plan is to do as much as possible upfront, so I can be fully present and amble around while I'm in the UK in June.

So, it's Tuesday, 5/27, and I leave on Sunday. My posts from here on out "should" be literary because I'm running out of time. Creating my own professional development has been way more exciting than I thought it was going to be.

Not gonna lie, I really just wish folks would always give me money to go explore, and I'll write about it and report home! Upon reflection, that's exactly what I've tried to create for my authors at school. They're worth it!
